Walt Disney World: Reservation

Alright, you may forget the importance of Reservation while visiting Walt Disney World Resort .Well the Reservation may not work in the true sense as the name sounds because you might have to wait before you get seatings and food because Walt Disney World Resort is a busy place.But it does not mean there is no need of reservation at all. You will be next immidiate person to be processed if all the tables are occupied, which saves a great deal of time.Its best to arrive around 20 minutes before the reservation time. If no table is vacant at the time of your arrival,it can take 20 to 30 minutes to get seated. I had made reservation before hand for my lunch at Crystal Palace and i got my table in 10 minutes.I consider myself lucky.
In Walt Disney World Resort with advanced Reservation its not mandatory that you have to show up, and this is a great thing because Walt Disney world Resort is a huge place.There are many theme parks, Magical Kingdom, Animal Kindom and lot more to visit.At the time of lunch or dinner, it is possible that you are miles far from the place where you have made arrangements for eating.So no obligation.Go when you feel like going and enjoy your meals.
On the contrary there is a growing list of restaurants in Walt Disney World Resort which are preferring true reservation these days which means you can book the table anytime you want which ofcourse is subject to availability.Some restaurant in Walt Disney World Resort do require you to deposit money at the time of reservation.This means if you want to eat your dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table, you will have to pay them little money in advance via credit card or the other possible way.But then again the good thing about this is if you have cancelled to visit or due to some reason if you have changed your schedule you can get refund.You should cancel the Reservation before 24 hours though.
Reservations can be done at 407-939-3463 or at the central Booking Office which can be reached 407-934-7639.Another thing worth mentioning here is that you can have the advance bookings for Walt Disney World Resort restaurants upto 180 days prior to your visit, which is a great thing in a way because there are lot of people who are vising Walt Disney Word Resort.
